My Background
With a solid foundation in business management, I embarked on a transformative journey to pursue my true passion: teaching. In 2016, I made the bold decision to transition from the corporate world to the realm of education. Certified in both early childhood and childhood education, I dedicate myself wholeheartedly to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. My commitment to literacy education led me to pursue a master's degree at SUNY Oneonta, where I wrote my thesis on "How Does Choice in Books Affect Students' Comprehension and Motivation to Read?". As a literacy specialist, I have honed my skills to empower students with the gift of reading and writing. Additionally, my undergraduate studies at SUNY New Paltz afforded me the opportunity to concentrate in mathematics, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of numerical concepts. With experience spanning across elementary, middle, and high school levels, I bring a diverse skill set and a passion for teaching to every classroom I enter, striving to inspire and empower students to reach their fullest potential.
